Microsoft 365 administration
Joiners and leavers, shared mailboxes, access reviews and the awkward jobs nobody owns. See Microsoft 365 administration.
Senior-level Microsoft 365 help for Dallas-Fort Worth businesses that need their tenant secured, cleaned up, migrated or properly managed.
TechTruePoint is based in Dallas-Fort Worth and handles Microsoft 365 administration, cleanup, security and migrations for businesses here and nationwide. All of the work is done remotely, because that is where a tenant lives.
It is usually one of three situations. Microsoft 365 was set up years ago by somebody who has since gone. It has grown without anybody deciding how it should work. Or something has just gone wrong, a leaver who still has access, mail landing in spam, a laptop that went missing, and nobody is sure what else is exposed.
Joiners and leavers, shared mailboxes, access reviews and the awkward jobs nobody owns. See Microsoft 365 administration.
For a tenant you inherited or lost control of: business owned admin access, then an inventory of what is really in there. See tenant takeover and cleanup.
Mailboxes, shared addresses, forwarding rules nobody remembers creating, and mail flow that someone can actually explain.
Who can sign in, from where, and on what. Rules that stop the obvious attacks without prompting your team on every click.
Multi-factor authentication enforced for everyone, admin accounts first, and access removed on the day someone leaves. See cybersecurity and identity.
Laptops that arrive configured, stay encrypted and updated, and can be locked or wiped if one goes missing. See Intune and Autopilot.
What you are paying for against who actually works there. Unused and mismatched licences are common, and finding them often pays for the review.
Moving to Microsoft 365 from Google Workspace, IMAP hosting or older Exchange, with a rollback plan. See business email migration.
Files in places people can find them, sharing that is deliberate rather than accumulated, and Teams that do not multiply without anyone deciding they should.
We are based in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. We do not have an office you can visit, and we do not claim offices in the cities around it. Whether your business is in Dallas, Fort Worth, Plano, Frisco, Irving, Arlington, McKinney or Denton, the work runs the same way.
Your tenant is not in your building. Users, mailboxes, Conditional Access policies, device policies and licences are all administered through Microsoft's admin centres, from anywhere, with an audit trail. Somebody driving to your office does not make any of that better. What matters is that access is granted properly, to an admin account your business owns and can revoke, and that every change is written down.
The same clock. We work Central time, Monday to Saturday, so the person answering is awake when your team is. And an honest answer when a job needs hands on hardware: we do not do on-site work, and we will tell you up front rather than stretch a remote engagement to cover it.
We work with businesses nationwide on exactly the same terms. The only real difference is time zone overlap, which is smaller on the coasts. There is more on how this runs on our service areas page.
What is worrying you, how many people you have, and who set Microsoft 365 up. The free Risk Check is a good way in if you have one specific concern.
For a whole tenant that is the Security and Cost Review: admins, sign-in protection, mail, devices and licences, written down.
You approve the list. Some findings are worth accepting rather than fixing, and we will say which.
Every change recorded: what it was, what it is now and why. That record is yours.
Ongoing administration if you want it, or a tidy, documented tenant handed to whoever runs it next.
The same work wherever you are, run on Central time. These are the pages that go into detail:
No, we work remotely only. The tenant, the mailboxes and the policies all live in Microsoft's cloud rather than in your building, so none of this work needs anyone in the room. If you need a person on site for hardware, cabling or a machine that will not boot, a local technician is the right call and we will say so plainly.
Not for the work itself. Configuring Conditional Access, cleaning up licences or migrating a mailbox is identical whether we are ten miles away or a thousand. What being in DFW does give you is the same working day: we are on Central time, so a problem at nine in the morning is looked at in your morning.
No. We are not a Microsoft reseller or licensing partner, and we would rather say that plainly than let a logo imply it. The practical upside is that we earn nothing from the licences you buy, so when we say you are paying for too many, there is no reason to doubt it.
The work is aimed at businesses of roughly 10 to 75 people: big enough that Microsoft 365 has become complicated, small enough that nobody in house owns it full time. Smaller businesses are welcome, and we will tell you honestly if a job is not worth paying for at your size.
With the free Microsoft 365 Risk Check: fifteen minutes on one concern, and you leave with up to three next steps. If the answer is that the whole tenant needs looking at, that is the Security and Cost Review.
Licences, accounts, security settings and the day to day of running a tenant.
For businesses that have lost Microsoft 365 admin access: finding the route back, then cleaning up and documenting what is in it.
Devices enrolled, encrypted and updated, and new laptops that configure themselves.
A fixed scope review of who has access, how sign-in is protected, where mail goes and what you are paying for.
MFA, access reviews, joiners and leavers, and devices that are managed rather than just handed out.
Move mailboxes to a new provider without losing mail, with a rollback plan in place.
Tell us what is worrying you about your tenant, or just the domain and roughly how many people. We will tell you where we would start, and say so if it is not us.
