IT support for small businesses in Dallas-Fort Worth

Ongoing remote IT support for DFW businesses that do not need a full-time IT department, just one team that owns the whole picture and answers when something breaks.

TechTruePoint is based in Dallas-Fort Worth and provides ongoing remote IT support for small businesses here and nationwide: accounts and logins, business email, Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace, devices, domains and security, owned by one team instead of a ticket queue.

It usually starts one of three ways. Whoever used to handle IT has left. The business has grown and nobody decided how the systems should work. Or something just went wrong, a former employee who can still sign in, mail landing in spam, a laptop that went missing, and nobody is sure what else is exposed.

What our IT support covers

Accounts and logins

New starters set up on day one, leavers removed the day they go, and admin access held in the business's name rather than one person's.

Email that arrives

Setup, migration, and the SPF, DKIM and DMARC records that decide whether your mail lands in the inbox or in spam. See business email going to spam.

Devices

Laptops and phones set up so they work, stay updated and can be locked or wiped if one goes missing. See Intune and Autopilot.

Security and identity

Multi-factor authentication for everyone, admin accounts first, and sign-in rules that challenge unusual access. See cybersecurity and identity.

Domains and cleanup

Getting control of the domain back, keeping its records correct, and sorting out the half-finished setups everyone works around. See technical cleanup.

Based in DFW, working remotely

We are based in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. We do not have an office you can visit, and we do not claim offices in the cities around it. Whether your business is in Dallas, Fort Worth, Plano, Frisco, Irving, Arlington, McKinney or Denton, the work runs the same way.

Why remote suits most small business IT

Most of what goes wrong in a small office is not in the building. It is an account, a mailbox, a license, a password policy or a domain record, and all of those are managed online, with a record of every change. What matters is that access is granted properly, to admin accounts your business owns and can revoke, and that every change is written down.

What being local does give you

The same clock. We work Central time, Monday to Saturday, 8am to 6pm, so the people answering are working when your team is. And an honest answer when a job needs hands on hardware: we do not do on-site work, and we will tell you up front rather than stretch a remote arrangement to cover it.

Outside Dallas-Fort Worth

We support businesses nationwide on exactly the same terms. The only real difference is time zone overlap, which is smaller on the coasts. There is more on how this runs on our service areas page.

How working together usually starts

  1. A short conversation

How many people you have, what they use, and what keeps going wrong. If Microsoft 365 is the worry, the free Risk Check is a good way in.

  2. An honest inventory

What you actually have, who controls it, and what you are paying for. This nearly always turns up something nobody expected.

  3. Fix what is dangerous first

Lost admin access, accounts without MFA and leavers who can still sign in come before the merely annoying. You approve the list and the order.

  4. Write it down

Every change recorded: what it was, what it is now and why. That record is yours.

  5. Keep it running

Ongoing support as things come up, joiners and leavers, renewals and whatever else comes up, or a tidy, documented setup handed to whoever runs it next.

Who this is for

  • DFW businesses whose IT person has left, or never existed
  • Owners who are not sure who can get into their email and files
  • Teams paying for software and licenses nobody has checked in a while
  • Businesses moving email or files between Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace
  • Companies that want one senior team to own their IT rather than a ticket queue

When this is not the right fit

  • Anyone who needs someone physically in the office. We work remotely.
  • Anyone who needs a 24/7 help desk. We work business hours and say so.
  • Businesses that need a formal security audit or a certification. We are not auditors.
  • Help with payment systems or point of sale. We do not work on them.

What TechTruePoint can help with

The same support wherever you are, run on Central time. These pages go into detail:

Common questions

Do you come on site?

No, we work remotely only. Accounts, email, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, domains and device policies all live in the cloud, so the work does not need anyone in your building. If you need hands on hardware, cabling or a machine that will not boot, a local technician is the right call and we will say so plainly.

Is this the same as managed IT services?

It covers the part of managed IT most small offices actually need: someone who owns your accounts, email, Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace, domains and devices, keeps them in order, and fixes things when they go wrong. It is ongoing and remote.

It is not a 24/7 help desk or an on-site technician. We work business hours, Central time, Monday to Saturday, and we would rather say that up front than let a phrase promise more than we do.

Does our IT support company need to be local?

Not for the work itself. Resetting access, cleaning up licenses, fixing mail that lands in spam or enrolling a laptop is done the same way from ten miles away or a thousand. What being in DFW does give you is the same working day: we work Central time, so the people answering are working when your team is.

How much does IT support cost?

It depends mostly on how many people you have, how many systems they use, and what state those systems are in today. A tidy setup costs less to look after than one that needs untangling first. Our guide to what IT support costs explains how providers usually price it, and we quote after an honest look at what you have.

What size of business is this for?

Small businesses that do not need a full-time IT department, usually somewhere around 10 to 75 people. Smaller businesses are welcome, and we will tell you honestly if a job is not worth paying for at your size.
