A contractor site built on real work
ICG Dallas is a commercial general contractor working across Dallas-Fort Worth. It needed a website that shows finished projects credibly and gets a serious prospect onto the phone.
ICG Dallas needed its finished work to do the selling. A commercial general contractor is judged on what it has built, so the site leads with photography and film of completed projects: restaurants, retail spaces, tenant build-outs and renovations across Dallas-Fort Worth.
That is what we built, and it is live now at icgdallas.com. The link is the proof: a case study about a site nobody can visit is just an assertion.
What the business needed
Commercial construction is bought on trust, and trust is built by seeing the work. The brief was to put real, finished projects in front of prospective clients without dressing anything up: actual photographs and footage of spaces ICG built, organised so a visitor can find the kind of project that looks like theirs.
The other half of the brief was restraint. The client had not yet confirmed every business detail in writing, and a site that padded the gaps with guesses would have undermined the whole point. So the rule on this build was simple: what is confirmed appears, what is not stays off the page, and nothing announces its own absence.
What we built
-
A portfolio of real projects
Named project pages with real photography and short films of finished spaces, each on its own page with its own link preview, so a specific project can be found, opened and shared on its own.
-
Phone-first on purpose
Tap-to-call is always within reach and there is no contact form anywhere on the site, because in commercial construction a real conversation starts the job faster than a web form does. The site is built to start that conversation, not to collect messages.
-
Fast on a phone
Project photography ships in sizes matched to the screen asking for it, and films load a poster frame first rather than dragging video down an unasked-for connection. A heavy portfolio site that crawls on a phone defeats itself.
-
The infrastructure behind it
The site lives on the client's own domain with its DNS managed on Cloudflare, analytics measuring the one action that matters here, a phone call, and Search Console wired so indexing can be watched rather than guessed at.
-
Nothing invented
Every business fact on the site is either confirmed by the client in writing or absent. No project counts, no invented credentials, no claims waiting to be checked. Sections appear as real facts arrive.
What the site does now
It is live at icgdallas.com, on the contractor's own domain. A visitor lands on finished work, browses projects by type, and reaches a call button without hunting for it. On a phone, which is where a busy owner or property manager actually is, the photography holds up and the site stays quick.
We are deliberately not publishing traffic or ranking figures here. Those are the client's numbers to share, not ours, and this positioning is built on not printing numbers we did not measure ourselves. What we can show is the work itself, running, at a link you can open right now. There are more examples on our case studies page as clients agree to be shown.
What Tech True Point can help with
This was a contractor, but the parts that made it work apply to most businesses that sell on evidence: show the real work, keep it fast, and make the next step obvious.
- Design and build of a site that leads with your actual work
- Development that keeps a photography-heavy site fast on a phone
- DNS and domain setup handled through Cloudflare DNS management
- Analytics that measures the action your business actually runs on
- Ongoing care so the site stays true after launch
Common questions
Why does a construction company website have no contact form?
Because ICG Dallas does not win work through web forms. In commercial construction the job starts with a real conversation, so the site is built to get a prospective client looking at finished work and then straight onto the phone. A form would only add a slower route to the same call.
That is deliberate, not an omission. When a business does run on enquiries through a form, we build and wire one properly instead: see website development.
What happens when a business cannot publish every detail about itself yet?
We leave the detail out rather than invent it. On this build, anything the client had not confirmed in writing simply does not appear, and a section with nothing real in it does not render at all. The site never announces a gap and never fills one with a guess.
That discipline is the same one this website runs on: no numbers nobody measured, no claims nobody confirmed. Pages grow as real facts arrive, which is how it should work.
